Why Physicians Should Practice Medicine in Mississippi

Podcast

Urogynecologist Robert Harris shares his perspective on practicing medicine in the state of Mississippi.

Urogynecologist Robert Harris came to practice in Mississippi by way of North Carolina. He did his specialty training at Duke University, and loved the mix of urban and rural people.

A true Southerner at heart, he says the patients are the same whether they live in North Carolina or Mississippi; they are just nice people. "...It's a very nice place to practice from a patient relationship standpoint. We like our patients," Harris told Physicians Practice. "It's hard for us to go anywhere in the state without knowing someone."

Harris recently shared more with Physicians Practice on what he likes - and what he'd
change - about practicing in Mississippi.
