With all the useful information available on Physicians Practice, it is easy to become overwhelmed.

With this in mind, the tip of the week is a chance to reflect on some of the wisdom found all across the site. In the August 2021 slideshow on Five questions to ask about wRVU compensation, Amy Boyer MBA writes the following:

Since wRVUs drive your paycheck, it’s to your advantage to ask questions in order to understand how the system works - and specifically how your employer counts wRVUs.

1). Are wRVUs credit on codes submitted or codes paid?

2). Do modifiers impact the wRVU credit? If so, how?

3). What credit do I receive if I bill a code for an unlisted procedure?
