What We Like About Our EHR

Slideshow

Physicians will gladly tell you everything wrong with their EHR system, but we asked them to be nice and give it a compliment.

Cynicism seems to be the preferred flavor of physicians when it comes to their EHR systems. You've heard the complaints. The systems are clunky, too many clicks, unusable, they make you answer irrelevant questions, alert fatigue, etc. This year's Physicians Practice Technology Survey revealed that 67.9 percent of practices say they have not gotten a return on investment from their EHR system. This begs the question, is there anything practitioners like about the EHR. We asked members of our editorial advisory board what was the one thing they liked about their EHR system. Here's what they had to say.(What are some of the things you like about your EHR.
