Due in part to federal incentives, EHR adoption among physician practices is on the rise. In our 2011 Technology Survey, 49 percent of respondents from private practices said they have a fully implemented EHR system online.
Charlie Jarvis of NextGen Healthcare and the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society EHR Association says physicians are beginning to understand the true value of these systems and it is not too late for others to discover similar worth from their own EHR. But the time to act is now.
