From HIPAA to the HITECH Act, requirements are in place to protect individual sets of data collected and stored at your practice. But unlike other industries, uniform and widespread standards on the security of patient and financial data is non-existent.

In this video, Kerry Shackelford of Coalfire looks at the risks of cloud-based and other software used at your practice as well as ongoing efforts toward the goal of one uniform set of standards and protocols for all entities that collect and store healthcare data.
