“Today, 89% of NPs are certified in an area of primary care, while 69% delivery primary care. With more advanced training than registered nurses and those with BSNs, NPs can evaluate, diagnose, order, and interpret diagnostic tests, as well as manage acute and chronic conditions, with 97% capable of prescribing medications. With this kind of advancement already existing in the practice, NPs should know that there is still room for progress. Here are several ways to advance your career:
