Poll of the Week – Have You Started Preparing for ICD-10?

Article

Though CMS just delayed the ICD-10 implementation date; physicians should start preparing for the switch now. Are you?

In a recent Practice Notes blog, Jackie Stack, an ICD-10 specialist for the AAPC , wrote about the CMS announcement that ICD-10 implementation will be delayed until October 1, 2014.

“This gives all providers a little more than two years for preparation of the implementation,” she wrote. “So what should you be doing right now to prepare? Now is the time to begin your preparation!”

Stack went on to provide some great preparation tips.
