Poll: Deadline Extension for Meeting Stage 2 Rules for Meaningful Use

Poll

What do you think of CMS' plans to extend the deadline for providers to show that they've met the Stage 2 criteria for meaningful use? Weigh in on our poll.

Last week, CMS announced plans to extend the deadline for providers to show they've met Stage 2 criteria for meaningful use through the end of 2016. Additionally, Stage 3 will be delayed until 2017 for those providers that have completed at least two years in Stage 2.

What does this mean to your practice?

This is great news, and allows our practice to better prepare to attest for meeting the Stage 2 rules of meaningful use.
This is a great first step, but the problem remains that many EHR vendors are not yet certified under the 2014 criteria.
This has no effect on what we're doing.
