MGMA11 Conference: Bright Lights, Big Changes in Healthcare

Article

If you are looking for the latest and greatest practice management news from this year’s MGMA11 Conference, we’ve got you covered.

The Las Vegas Strip is no stranger to high-stakes gambling, risky chances, and relying on luck to come out on top.

But physicians and practice managers attending this year’s MGMA11 Conference in “Sin City” will have a much better chance to come out winners as practice management experts from across the country converge to offer best practices, tips, and advice to keep their office from going bust in this ever-changing healthcare environment.

The event takes place Oct. 23 through Oct. 26 and kicks off with a presentation from Cam Marston, president of Mobile, Ala.-based Generational Insights, who’ll discuss a generational look at customer service and patient care.

Other keynote speakers include author and consultant Marcus Buckingham, who will explore the characteristics of great managers; Eric Dishman, from Intel’s Digital Health Group, who’ll discuss independent-living technologies; and analyst Frank Cohen on evidence-based management for healthcare.
