Meaningful Use Attestation: Last Chance for Payments

Video

The last quarter of 2014 is the last chance for eligible professionals to get meaningful use incentive payments. Here's how to ensure you attest properly.

2014 is the last year to begin participation and receive an incentive payment under CMS' Medicare EHR Incentive Program. Assuming you've started your data collection as of Oct. 1, 2014, your practice will be ready for attestation in 2015.

In this video, Robert M. Tennant, senior policy advisor for the Medical Group Management Association's Government Affairs Office, explains how to best ensure success and what technology to use, given CMS' recent extension of a hardship exception for certified EHRs.

Tennant will present "Survive and Thrive in the New HIT Environment" at the MGMA14 Conference in Las Vegas on Monday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
