ACOs and Liability Risks for Physicians

Podcast

In this podcast, Jeff Brunken, president of physician insurer MGIS, shares important ACO-related liability issues physicians face.

Accountable care organizations (ACOs), in which providers partner up to improve care quality while reducing costs are cropping up across the country and many physicians are considering participating in them.

But the ACO movement is still quite new and physician insurers are not yet sure how to approach them. As a result, there are a lot of gray areas when it comes to liability and ACOs that physicians must be aware of.

In this podcast, Jeff Brunken, president of physician insurer MGIS, shares what ACO-related liability issues physicians need to be aware of, and how physicians can make sure they are adequately covered.
